About Us

Sharon Hunter Aiken - Broker

Sharon Hunter Aiken Whether you’re buying or selling, you can count on Sharon Aiken to provide knowledgeable and straightforward real estate advice. Sharon helps buyers prioritize their wish list, taking into account such concerns as favoured locales, privacy and views—all of which are unique to Muskoka. She stays apprised of new listings and personally previews each as it comes to market.

Sellers get the benefit of the long view acquired through her 33 years of experience. She carefully monitors market indicators, guides sellers in "reality" pricing, and offers valuable advice for marketing your property in the most favourable fashion.

Beyond the properties themselves, Sharon also helps you navigate the buying and selling process, remaining ever-mindful of the concept of agency - her obligations and duties to her clients.

Muskoka real estate in her blood.
Muskoka born and bred, Sharon began her real estate career as a teenager in her father’s real estate office in the late 1970s.
Upon obtaining her Broker’s licence at just twenty years of age, she was the youngest broker in Canada. She served for many years as a director of the Muskoka Real Estate Board (now the Muskoka and Haliburton Association of Realtors,) and was Board president in 1985.

An edge on the water
Sharon has a life-long passion for boating, and in 2007 obtained her Captain’s License on board the 42-foot Ocean Spirit in the Virgin Islands. Her intimate knowledge of Lakes Muskoka, Rosseau and Joseph give her a competitive edge, especially when it comes to island properties.

Sharon and George have strong ties to Muskoka.

Born and bred in the region, they know the joy and wonder of living here year-round. Between them they’ve lived in numerous Muskoka towns, including Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Port Carling, and on Lake Rosseau. Currently they reside on Lake Muskoka in the Beaumaris-Port Carling corridor.

They welcome the addition of Tara to their team. "There is a symbiotic and respectful energy between the three of us," says Sharon, "and we are confident that our clients will greatly benefit from having us represent you in your Muskoka real estate transactions."
